European Southern Observatory ile ilgili hikayeler

• An eerie image released by the European Southern Observatory showed a large star's explosive death with immense filaments of brightly shining gas that exploded into space during the supernova. Located in the Milky Way, the star was about 800 light-years from Earth and believed to have had a mass at least eight times greater than the Sun. ESO/VPHAS+ team Fun fact: The image shows the supernova remnants about 11,000 years after the explosion.
